Global Warming is Real
Studies have shown that global warming accounted for about half of the extra warmth in the waters of the North Atlantic in 2005. The year 2005 experienced a record 28 tropical storms including Katrina, Wilma, and Rita that all reached Category 5. Temperatures in the tropical Atlantic reached a record 1.6 degrees above the 1901 -1970 average. Global warming accounted for about half of this.
