Toyota responded to our letter (see comments) by letter and telephone. Very impressive letter. They assured us they will NOT raise prices to “help” the american car industry. We’ll see.

Meanwhile, Congress is phrasing out the tax deduction for the hybrids by the end of this year (token deduction remains next year). What’s the matter? You guys owned by the oil industry like the Administration?
